Since going live around 9 weeks ago, Scene2u has had over 1,200 torrents uploaded – a very strong number for a new Scene tracker. Unfortunately, only 900 seeders are spread across these files, with a mere handful of leechers.
Forum activity, however, is very strong; 2800 posts have been made since the site went live, including some very handy Windows-based tutorials.
Running on the TS codebase, Scene2u unfortunately suffers from being just another scene tracker, offering little to stand out from the crowd. It has some nice features, including two lotteries: one for upload credit, and one for bonus points.
Time will tell for Scene2u, however the activity seen in the forums and chat must carry over into the tracker, for Scene2u to be considered a success.
Scene2u has a site-wide freeleech running until 8th February, and the site is currently open for signups.
